From Peppa Pig to LEGO, there’s a stack of new video games for little kids coming this year.
Young kids don’t need to miss out on video game time, with a huge library of new titles, specifically designed for tiny gamers, coming to consoles and PC.
Half a dozen new games have been announced this week, including a new Peppa Pig game where you create your own Peppa Pig character, a superhero filled PJ Masks game and an Addams Family game (we haven’t had one of those in 20 years).

Let’s take a look at this year’s upcoming video games made for young kids:
PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night
Fans of PJ Masks can don the costumes, playing as Catboy, Owlette and Gekko.
Players will be able to explore eight different locations from the show.
Fight bad guys, save the day and hunt for special collectibles. Controllers have been specifically designed with little people in mind.
PJ Masks Heroes of the Night is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC later this year.
My Friend Peppa Pig
While there’s already a few Peppa Pig games out there, mostly on Apple’s devices, this is the first of its kind coming to console.
In My Friend Peppa Pig, players will be able to create their very own animal to play along with Peppa and friends.
There’ll be lots of activities to do along the way, from jumping in muddy puddles to exploring Potato City.
My Friend Peppa Pig is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC later this year.
The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem
We haven’t had an Addams Family console game since 2001 – so this game’s been a long time coming.
Mansion Mayhem is a 3D platformer, you’ll be able to play as Wednesday, Pugsley, Gomez, and Morticia.
There’s a multiplayer mode to get the whole family involved with up to four players.
The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC later this year and will coincide with The Addams Family 2 in cinemas November.

Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures
Sticking with the spooky theme, Scary-Tale adventures seemingly puts a twist on classic fairy tales such as Little Red Riding Hood and The Emperor’s New Clothes.
Hotel Transylvania is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC and will also coincide with the latest film’s release in September.
Family Trainer
Following the success of Ring Fit Adventure, Family Trainer is the latest exergaming title and as the name suggests – it’s family friendly.
The game uses the Joy Con Controllers and, like Ring Fit Adventure, you can take advantage of the Leg Strap to take part in various mini games and activities.
Family Trainer is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 3.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
One for the slightly older kids, the latest in the Ratchet and Clank series is expected to be a massive hit.
This third-person shooter/adventure game is sequel to the 2016 self-titled reboot.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is releasing on June 11 exclusively on the PlayStation 5.
Blaze and the Monster Machines: Axle City Racers
Race your character through various tracks, customise your character, perform tricks and stunts on the racetrack – young kids will have no trouble with this one, it has an auto drive feature and optional simplistic controls.
This is also one of few games that uses STEM educational features.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
We haven’t had a new Lego Star Wars game since June 2016 with The Force Awakens – fans of the franchise have waited a long time.
The Skywalker Saga will see every Star Wars movie combined into one mega-game.
After multiple delays, the game’s exact release date is unknown but we can expect it at some time later this year.
