Iconic PlayStation character comes to Fortnite, but at a cost to players

PlayStation smash hit God of War is set to shake up Fornite with Kratos as the latest playable character, but it comes at a price.
After Fornite’s hugely successful run with other hit franchises, notably Star Wars and The Avengers, developers Epic Games revealed on Friday that God of War’s main man, Kratos, is the next major character to enter the battle royale – alongside Star Wars’ The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda (aka The Child, aka Grogu!).
Interestingly, Kratos is not a PlayStation exclusive.
For the first time ever Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch gamers will be able to get their hands on the Sony character. Kratos is the first character of Fornite’s Gaming Legends series, with other major video game characters expected in the future.

Kratos brings with him a few new skins, including the Guardian Shield Glider, Mimir Back Bling, and Leviathan Axe Pickaxe.
There’s also some new emotes, including a ‘Freezing Burst Emote’, for Kratos’ axe.
But all of this comes at a cost, gamers can expect to pay 2200 V-Bucks (Fornite’s currency) for the new character bundle, that’s about $25 for the Kratos character skin, axe and glider.
Earlier this week, The Mandalorian and his companion Baby Yoda were added to the game to kick off the beginning of its new arc, Zero Point.
The adorable character setting hearts alight as a new in-game pet (or companion), pets are essentially just a cosmetic item with no extra perks.
Players will also be able to get their hands on Din Djarin’s (The Mandalorian) Amban sniper rifle and jetpack.
